This blog is in support of my SDR-IQ software defined radio which I share over the web with shortwave listeners, DXers, amateur radio operators, pirate radio enthusiasts and anyone interested in radio.
I will post information about antennas, local interference sources, outages, etc.
To get the most from my server, download the latest version of SDR-RADIO from sdr-radio.com and connect at sdrspace.com. Look for the server: SWL/Halifax.

Thank you. That was my first experience tuning without a knob. I didn't get to fool around much with the 30 minute limit but I did listen to Radio Australia on 9580 for a bit with my morning coffee. Good signal and audio. Very interesting programming. Now back to spinning a knob. Thanks again. (Delgadas)
Hi HalifaxSWL: How's the reception on this rig? I'll download the software and check out the bands via your SDR. I was getting some Brazilian stations the other night from my Halifax location.

ReplyDeleteDelgadas, Thank you for your comments. I will consider increasing the allowed connect time.
ReplyDeleteNo worries. The connect time is perfectly fine. Not one to hog or abuse, I'm sure there are others that would like to use your radio. (Delgadas)
